Breakfast at Selene
Breakfast is served everyday between 9 – 11 in the morning in the communal kitchen and courtyard.
Yiayia Keti (little Stella’s grandmother) prepares a selection of homemade and local organic products every morning. We feature fresh baked bread, boiled free-range organic eggs from local farms, homemade marmalades, our world-renowned pure Ikarian honey, fresh juice, Greek Yogurt, whole fruits and granola. You’ll also be treated to a daily surprise from Yiayia’s kitchen, like her famous hand-rolled spanakopita made with seasonal local wild greens, orange cake, bougatsa (a filo pastry filled with semolina custard and dusted with cinnamon and sugar), pancakes & waffles, and more.
We provide guests with Nespresso machines and a selection of teas in their rooms, but if you want an iced or Greek coffee, you can help yourself in the communal kitchen or just ask Miss Dina and she will provide.
